My CV (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the App”) is a mobile application that allows users to create professional CVs and invoices directly on their devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

My CV operates with a privacy-first approach:

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Personal Information: Name, job title, email, phone number, address, and other CV details you enter
Photos: Profile pictures you select or capture for your CV
Work History: Professional experience, education, skills, and languages
Invoice Data: Client information, product descriptions, and pricing

Important: All this data is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

Advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID)
Device information (model, operating system version)
IP address and approximate location
App usage data and interactions with ads

3. How We Use Your Information

Your CV/Invoice Data: Used solely to generate PDF documents on your device. We never access or transmit this information.
AdMob Data: Used by Google to display relevant advertisements and measure ad performance.

4. Permissions

My CV requests the following permissions:

Camera: To take profile pictures for your CV
Photo Library: To select existing photos from your device
Storage: To save generated PDF files to your device’s Downloads folder
Internet: Required to display advertisements via AdMob
Ad ID (Android) / Tracking (iOS): To show personalized ads (you can opt-out in device settings)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

AdMob: As described in section 2.2
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Security

Since all your CV and invoice data is stored locally on your device:

Your data security depends on your device’s security settings
We recommend enabling device encryption and using a secure lock screen
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted

7. Children’s Privacy

My CV is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Review data stored on your device at any time
Delete: Clear all app data from device settings or uninstall the app
Data Deletion Request: Since we do not store any of your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete. All your CV and invoice data exists only on your device. To delete this data:
- Complete Deletion: Uninstall the app from your device
- Partial Deletion: Go to your device Settings → Apps → My CV → Clear Data
If you have concerns about data collected by AdMob, you can request deletion through Google’s Data & Privacy page.
Opt-Out of Personalized Ads:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Disable for My CV
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
Data Portability: All PDF files you create are saved in your device’s Downloads folder and can be freely transferred, shared, or backed up at your discretion.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
